3 Billion Baht (USD91 Million) Resort Development By Thailand's Apex Development To Bring 'Simple Made Perfect' Philosophy To Thailand's Premier Resort Island Destination
Bangkok – 20 December 2018 – Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) today announced the signing of the five-star Delta Hotels by Marriott Mai Khao Phuket Resort developed by Thailand's premier developer, Apex Development PCL. The mixed-use property is slated to be fully operational by December 2021 and is set to bring Delta's refreshing 'simple made perfect' philosophy to Phuket's sophisticated resort and property development scene, targeting both international tourists as well as savvy lifestyle resort home buyers.
Delta Hotels by Marriott Mai Khao Phuket Resort & Residences will comprise a 179-room hotel, and 58 pool-villa beachfront condominium units with beautiful views of the Andaman Sea. The property, located a convenient 10-minute drive from Phuket International Airport, sits on a sprawling 14 rai (5.5 acre) of land featuring an enviable 200 meters of white sandy beach as well as a large natural lake as a backdrop.
